Maintenance and service

Construction equipment has a long life if it is maintained properly and systematically. New or used, a machine needs regular servicing to hold a high safety standard on your site.

How we approach it

The parameters that matter are different on every project — the machines you run, the hours they work, how exposed the site is, and how long the programme has left. We go through those carefully before recommending anything.

What comes back to you is a set of recommendations that are sound both technically and economically. We will tell you where a service interval can safely be stretched and where it cannot, so you can decide on the best deal rather than buying a schedule you do not need.

What a schedule covers

  • Mechanical inspection and adjustment
  • Electrical circuits, contactors and control gear
  • Limit and safety switch testing
  • Brake and hoisting mechanism checks
  • Structural and fastening checks
  • Wire rope condition
  • Fault log and parts recommendations

Put your fleet on a schedule

Tell us what you run and where it is working. We will inspect it and come back with what it actually needs.
